Go To Pricing PageMany people think "understanding" is simply knowing basic information about a person, but psychologically, understanding is a memory‑building process. This stage is Step 2 of the Five‑Step Chatting Method, following icebreaking. From the Chat Map system, we move past superficial peripheral topics into personal topics, which builds deep familiarity and generates mutual romantic attraction.
Icebreaking lets the other party know who you are to ease defensiveness; the getting‑to‑know‑you stage lets them know what kind of person you are to build emotional closeness. One‑sided inquiry will fail — balanced mutual sharing is mandatory.
1. Personal Information: Basic physical stats, family background, career, income & assets
2. Lifestyle Habits: Clothing, food, housing, daily travel routines & preferences
3. Life Experiences: School years, family relationships, past relationships, career journey, life choices
4. Thoughts & Values: Outlook on love, family, career, financial & long‑term life plans
Bad direct question: How tall are you?
Good declarative lead: You look at least 1.7 meters tall from your photos.
She will naturally correct or confirm her real height without feeling interrogated, and your neediness is hidden.
Her reply: I’m only 1.65 meters tall.
Don’t immediately ask "What hobbies do you have?"
Expansion reply: Your photos make you look like 1.75, your photography skills are really outstanding.
This uses divergent associative thinking to branch the topic naturally, pulling out more of her personal details smoothly.
Critical core truth of attraction: Attraction comes from letting the other person fully understand you, not you fully understanding them. Only one‑sided questioning will leave you deeply invested while she feels no emotional pull toward you.
Voluntarily share your daily trivialities, life feelings and growth stories first; your sincerity will encourage her to open up about her own life without pressure.
Misconception 1: Passive waiting for her to start topics, too afraid to reveal neediness to take initiative
Misconception 2: Treat the conversation like a rigid survey, overly serious and dry without relaxed atmosphere
Misconception 3: Over‑boasting your achievements to show value, coming off pretentious and shallow
Men must take initiative at this stage. Proactive life sharing does not expose neediness; only endless serial questions do. If you remain passive, the conversation will stagnate and fail to deepen.
Dry survey style: You’re 1.65m? That’s pretty tall. What hobbies do you have?
Lively expanded version (three‑tier divergent thinking): Your photos make you look 1.75, your photography skills are top tier.
Use the three‑layer progressive method and divergent thinking to add emotional feelings and associations to every topic, loosening the rigid interview atmosphere.
Bad arrogant bragging: I made good money these years and bought a house recently, pretty impressive right?
Good value‑oriented sharing: I’ve been learning interior design after work, I want a wall of wine racks and bookshelves at home. I love reading philosophy and tasting wine in my free time, so I’m renovating my new place little by little.
Show your assets indirectly through your life tastes and long‑term ideals, rather than bluntly showing off. Pure sincerity, not performance, builds genuine attraction.
1. Current daily trivialities (impromptu real‑time topics)
2. Detailed appreciation of her social media posts (specific, subtle compliments)
3. Height, figure, fitness & body management topics
4. Career, workplace, commuting & colleague stories (stance‑based shared experience topics)
5. Hobbies, movies, food, shopping (easy to create ambiguous offline date invitations)
6. Current trending social media hot topics (timely popular topics)
7. Past growth & life experiences (deepest layer to understand core character)
All seven directions integrate the three major topic categories from Lesson 4: impromptu topics, stance‑based topics, timely trending topics. Every previous lesson’s method is applied together in this stage to create endless natural personal chat material.
The most important topic of all: past life experiences. A person’s character is the sum of all their past choices and growth. Only by exchanging childhood, school and career stories can you truly grasp their inner nature, not just superficial surface information.
The getting‑to‑know‑you stage is Step 2 of the Five‑Step Chatting system, transitioning from peripheral small talk to deep personal topics to build mutual familiarity and attraction.
Core operation rules:
1. Four major topic frameworks: personal info, lifestyle, life experiences, values;
2. Three chat skills: declarative lead‑ins, expand every piece of info, balanced mutual life sharing;
3. Avoid three major misconceptions: passivity, rigid survey‑style chat, arrogant boasting;
4. Seven universal practical topic directions covering all three topic types from earlier lessons.
This stage must maintain two‑way balanced disclosure. Let her fully understand your personality and life while you learn hers — this generates stable attraction and gives her a strong sense of security that you are serious about the relationship. Master divergent thinking and three‑tier progressive expansion to keep chats relaxed, vivid and never dry.
